George was an advocate of the Plato Sons  recruiting new members while at Austin High School, class of 1965.   Always a friend to many, he was a key to my joining; We spend many days studing together in college years then having lunch  in the loop with Plato & Ypsi alums  in early professional lives.  He would organize the old gang in the 70's for lunch many times at Verros, one of his accounting clients.  He was wise beyond his years.  RIP in Gardens in Westchester, I recall.  I miss him to this day.  May his memory be enternal to God.           GJA

Paul Dubis

We will deeply miss Paul, who was a true Hellene.  He was very religious, served on multiple church boards, co-chaired the Ahepa National Convention in St. Louis and was a founding member of Hellenic Spirit.  We fondly remember our ski trips together and our crazy times at the Minneapolis convention. He was Peter Katsinas' travel agent and financial advisor.   Paul  would routinely order a subcompact and ride off in a Mustang convertible, as he could work the rental car counter better than anyone in his day. If Paul  were on our reunion committee, our ticket prices would be half.

Very few people are blessed to have had a friend that touched so many thru his life. That is truly missed by many who loved him, for who he was. The friend that worked tirelessly to help those that passed thru his life. The friend that made so many laugh and forget their problems. The friend that brings back so many good memories.

The friend that we keep in our hearts that's not forgotten.
  Peter we miss you.

Peter, as long as the people that experienced your overflowing positive influence as a brother, friend, and communicator you cannot be forgotten.
Eternal your memory.

Cindy Gatziolis

I truly cannot remember how involved my sister Cindy was in the Maids of Athena. She was eight years younger than me. But I do remember how much she enjoyed hanging around her siblings and their Sons and Maids friends. She loved it and everyone was always so nice to her. Both Georgianna and Cindy are missed by their family and friends.

My brother, Bob Limperis, was a proud member of the Sons of Pericles where he made many life-long friends.  He lived in Portland, Oregon for 35 years with his wife Connie whom he met at an AHEPA convention.  Bob passed in 2015, but his best friends were from the Sons.  He always enjoyed coming to Chicago to go out with the 'guys' and had many great times with them !

Bobby. My college roommate for two years at SIU. A better friend no one could ever have.  Many late nights playing double deck pinochle with Dedes and Lambros or Bobby losing to me in games of Aggravation.  A true SOP,  Bobby had friends across the country.  He is truly missed by all who knew him.

From Christina Tzavellas on May 25th, 2019
Bob (I called him Bobby) was one of the best among the Sons.  I got to know Bobby during the Ahepa Convention in Athens 1970 among a group of 5-15 SOP/MOA friends who rampaged through Greece.  He was fun, funny, polite, easy-going and nice; everyone enjoyed his company.  Through the years, if I saw an SOP friend from Chicago, we’d go through the list of names for updates…and Bobby’s always came up. Hats off and toast to you, Bobby! May his memory be eternal.

From Michael Pilafas on May 21st, 2019
Bob Limperis was in a class by himself.......he commanded respect with grace and humility. With regard to the Sons of Pericles influence and reach on a national scale, he was known for many his many virtues, most notably was the parliamentariam role he so skillfully assumed. His passing affected his closest friends most acutely, as we never forgot him for a day. Rest in peace Limperis, PILAFAS
